In Rotterdam, a city rebuilt from memory and shaped by modernity, two architects meet for a single day.
Daniel, a local, is assigned to guide Emre, a visitor from Istanbul, through the landmarks of the city.
What begins as a scheduled tour gradually shifts into something more intimate, as the architecture around them
reflects differences in freedom, identity and the idea of home.
Not Built to Last is the recipient of the 2025 Roze Filmdagen Short Fiction Project Competition award and production grant.
The film will have its first premiere at the International Film Festival Rotterdam 2026.
